That’s the only set he lost all tourneyHas he even lost a set since beating Rafa? The run this dude is on is just unreal
It seems like Tsitsipas pulled out from the doubles semifinal. It just showed in my phone as a WO for their opponents.
So if Coric is able to win, he will have run this gauntlet:
Musetti, Nadal, RBA, FAA, Norrie, Tsitsipas.
That's some lineup.
Would this or Tim van Rijthoven winning 's-Hertogenbosch be the biggest surprise of the year?

Coric is certainly capable when healthy. He’s also capable of following a big tournament final win (Halle’18 vs fedr) with a total egg (1R Wimby loss to very green Medvedev as a 4-1 favorite). I’ll wait to see his draw before extending any optimism to approach yours.Coric. From the highlights I've seen it looks like he's found a serve. If so, that's a huge problem for the rest of the tour. His ground game and back hand have always been tremendous. He's got a real chance at this USO.
Not talking about the same thing though. I'm not saying it's the toughest string of opponents in a tournament that anyone has ever gone through, but rather by someone that was so under the radar that nobody would have ever picked to even make it to the semifinal. It's really not. Funny enough Norrie may have been his strongest opponent for where Coric was followed by Nadal. Tsitsipas will be more worn down. It's a solid draw don't get me wrong but nothing top tier.
For Miami Alcaraz beat Fucsovics-Cilic-Tsitsipas-Kecmanovic-Hurkacz-Ruud. Pretty similar.
Strongest Masters run could be argued following:
Novak Rome: Karatsev, Stan, Felix, Ruud, Tsitsipas
Alcaraz Madrid: NB, Norrie, Nadal, Novak, Zverev
It will be fair for Coric to be seeded considering the form he is in. Hope he wins the finals. If he does then all 4 HC masters held till now this year will have been won by 1st time Masters winners. Kind of shows how strong the field is in HC.Coric has jumped 104 spots in the rankings. A win in the final would move him up to 29 and a seeding at the USO. The other top players might prefer that so they won’t run into him in the early rounds.
Should Tsitsipas win, he pushes Alcaraz back down to number 5.

Absolutely incorrect, sir.If you love tennis, I don't see how it's possible to root against Coric right now
Guy goes from being an injured never-was to the most dangerous player on tour in the span of a week?
All of a sudden he looks like he might be the player tennis needs--a guy who can go the distance and hold his nerve against the B2 at a Slam
He has swag, big-game mentality, and a real exertion grunt as opposed to the whiny hindrance grunts almost everyone else uses

Where is Thiem? Did he even play Canada and Cincy?
Just as likely to win that match!^^Very likely could go out to JJ Wolf first round
I have a feeling it won't be the guy with the elegant strokes
Budget Fed vs Budget Egg
