On hardcourts The Crazy Russian owns The Thinker. This match is of no interest, apart from the fact that they don't get on well together.

Where is this coming from???

Cause Daniil won some Masters against Opelka, Goffin and Zverev and a Slam against tired 34 year old?

Tsitsipas is absolutely talented enough and was dealing with elbow pain, he's been rehabbing this season basically.

Sneaky spot for Stefanos to finally get a W on HC here. Med has been very far from impressive. That being said I don't think he does it but he could take a set.

Got to go Meddy here. He’s looking back to his solid best on HC. He moves better on HC and his BH is to much usually Tsitsipas on hard courts. This rivalry is surface dependent and meddy has the edge for this surface. Mad lad in 2.

I think it's more about match up. Medvedev's defense really frustrate Stefanos and his weak BH and ROS gets exposed big time against Meddy. I don't see how Stefanos wins this one.

I agree fully. Great analysis. Where as on clay Tsitsipas FH more effective and meddy defence or movement not as strong on clay.

These guys have extra edge when they meet as they don’t get on that well. It always adds to the occasion.

It should be a good match, both come in good form, but i gotta give the edge to medvedev, being a human wall is just better tactic unless you have nuclear destruction weapons, and even tough tsitsipas has weapons, i dont think they are that high level

One of the reasons of the 7-2 for Danya is the way he easily finds Stef's backhand. That's also why Stef is 2-7 and 2-8 against Nadalovic.

What is so different about Danil when he hits the ball? Why does it look different his forehand and backhand swing than anyone else on tour? It just looks super fast the the way he hits.. like whippy.

Unique style, flat and controlled, long arms like zverev but totally different mecanics

Not if you close the stroke and are 1.98 tall, besides he is top elite, he has grooved his style more than enough, but yeah its maybe a "dont try at home" thing
