Just watched an exciting match between Victoria Azarenka and Jelena Jankovic. It was exciting because I saw 22 breaks of serves! In spite of Victoria's dreadful faulty serve she made it thus far and now she will face the world no. 1 Serena Williams. Her movement and ground strokes are one of the best.

About six years ago Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic from Serbia were two emerging players on the WTA circuit but they cave in to the glamour of the circuit and got distracted. There were rumors that Ana Ivanovic was pregnant and it showed up from her inflated belly but then somehow she got rid of that and re-committed herself to tennis but in the process it seems she lost precious time.

There were similar ups and downs for Jelena Jankovic also and it is nice that she is playing well again. However, she ought to improve her serve if she is going to create a dent in the confidence of the likes of Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams.

The Ladies Final: On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give perfect 10 to Serena Williams. All she has to do to hold her own serve and I am sure she will break Victoria's.

I have been on the tennis circuit myself as a player and as a traveling coach with some of the best juniors from this part of the world. It is very distracting for the emerging boys and girls particularly teen-age girls to focus on their tennis and not fall prey to glamorous life outside of it such as dance parties, drinks, and sex. That's why I felt that the juniors need a strong coach to train them on-court and to watch their activities off it for it's a dangerous world out there.
