Sinner in this match lol

Not necessarily. Tough conditions today but winning matches like this when you're not playing well helps your confidence.
Yes but his serve is far worse in wind than Nole's

He is dependent on his serve and in usopen it would be similar. And he has hip issues.

The wind should not be a factor on Ashe....it will all be about the humidity in there.
Yea definitely. Seems like since they got the roof, the wind is less of a problem but that humidity though. I remember in 2018 the ventilation was terrible and Federer was sweating like a bull. lol. They must have improved it since then.

It was the first time Federer wanted to quit and get off the court. He admitted himself, that he just wanted to stop playing and run away.

Yes physical tests in old age. That's why I am not very high on nole. AO and wimby he can still be top favorite. Or second. Here third.

I've never seen Federer sweat that much in any match than in that 4th round in 2018. Just terrible and dreadful conditions to play in.

Is it my imagination, or is Sinner playing slightly differently now from his early 2024 form? His groundstrokes look wristier, less powerful.

The wind is a big factor in this tournament and he’s putting less pace behind the groundrrrokes
