How TF did Zverev lose to Baby Sinner at RG lol?
Don't know why people complain about the talent nowadays, these matches has been great entertainment.
I'm the only one in the poll who got the winner right, which is crazy that no one else had any faith in the #1 player in the world to the point that people thought Zverev and Medvedev had a better chance.
Yeah i normally vote with the heart, not with the head, as its very difficult to get these results, sinner boy was a break away from going home against zverev, but i admit hes been very clutch this week and clearly deserves itI'm the only one in the poll who got the winner right, which is crazy that no one else had any faith in the #1 player in the world to the point that people thought Zverev and Medvedev had a better chance.
Lol. That’s your take? Really? Whatever. And now a loss against Clownfils. Just when we thought his BO3 shenanigans couldn't get any worse.
He seriously needs to man up and treat BO3 with seriousness as well; he is not a 35 year old veteran who has the mileage, and therefore luxury to treat the non slams as mere warmups or non serious events.
How can he be world beater in BO5 and totally suck in BO3 is frustrating for me.Lol. That’s your take? Really? Whatever.
Well maybe you need to calm down a bit. He doesn’t totally suck at BO3. He has 5 M1000 titles etc. He is human. He is young. He won’t win everything nor will he dominate everyone at the age of 21. He has a whole career ahead of him. Managing expectations lolHow can he be world beater in BO5 and totally suck in BO3 is frustrating for me.
True that. I need to stop expecting too much.Well maybe you need to calm down a bit. He doesn’t totally suck at BO3. He has 5 M1000 titles etc. He is human. He is young. You kinda do. I don’t want to sound condescending because that isn’t my intention but getting all wound up over Carlos not winning isn’t doing you any good. He just won 2 slams and a silver medal. Enjoy that, it’s an awesome showing. Staying healthy is the most important thing, his titles will come as a result because he is that good, just not every time he steps on a court. We can’t change or influence his fate, we can only cheer him on and thus far he has delivered a lot and is working hard to do so. Good for himTrue that. I need to stop expecting too much.
I really don’t think he’s bad at best of three. Remember 2/3rd of masters titles are hardcourt and he is not a top three hardcourter at this current moment. Sinner though, I do think he should have more masters titles, I do think Sinner should’ve won Madrid injury free and also Monte Carlo had it not been for the line call.True that. I need to stop expecting too much.
Totally agree with you pal. Rafa has spoilt me.You kinda do. Nadal was just leagues ahead on clay. And Nadal seemed better at bo3 hardcourt. He has done well (Alcaraz that is)Totally agree with you pal. Rafa has spoilt me.
Rafa on clay >>> Alcaraz. I'd go as far to say that even 2004 Rafa would beat current Alcaraz on clay, let alone his 2005-onwards self.Nadal was just leagues ahead on clay. And Nadal seemed better at bo3 hardcourt. He has done well (Alcaraz that is)
I wasn’t impressed with his level in that Rg final. Zverev really choked that one. He played horrendously at times yet still won. Any version of Rafa up until 2022 confidently creams 2024 Alcaraz as well as any version of Djokovic except 2006, 2017 and 2018Rafa on clay >>> Alcaraz. Alcaraz choked before Zverev, especially in set 3 which should've been 6-2 Alcaraz.I wasn’t impressed with his level in that Rg final. Zverev really choked that one. Yes set 3 Alcaraz should’ve won. This should’ve been a tame 4 set loss for Zverev but such is life.Alcaraz choked before Zverev, especially in set 3 which should've been 6-2 Alcaraz.
And talking about Rafa & Djok, they'd humiliate Sinner way worse than Alcaraz; because one dimensional ballbashing with poor vertical movement & susceptibility to angles spells doom against these two. Alcaraz would still muster respectable scorelines, but Sinner would be annihilated.
