Agree, but Zverev and Tsitsipas both straight set twice.Nadal's performance was embarrassing. He deserved to go out, he was the second worst player in the group and Incase anyone wasn't aware, he:
- Didn't win a single match in straight sets (Something Zverev did twice and Tsitsipas did twice)
- Was 1 point away from losing to Medvedev. The guy who both other players in the group managed to beat in straight sets
People acting like this is a problem with the event are deluded. Nadal was garbage and his "fightback" against Medvedev was more a choke than anything special. He wasn't anything special and would get destroyed by Thiem or Federer and probably re-destroyed in the final too. Be happy that he has managed to save some dignity by still being #1 whilst also avoiding further hilarity by losing easily in the SF.
