clamp modification question

Has anyone here tried or experimented with some form of non-slip tape as a "liner" for the gripping surfaces of their clamps? Please comment.

no.... If they are working properly there is no need.... and if they are slipping, cleaning them or proper re-adjustment should provide resolution....
