Going to try Klip gut in my class 100 pro for the first time. I have been using syn gut at 54. What tension would you recommend for new set up . First time with natural gut.

They say Clash played well in lower tensions, that the high tensions can „turn off” the whole technology. By lower tension they mean 44-48lb

furthermore you shouldnt use gut in the clash because its a string eater and because its already such a soft racquet that with soft strings in it you wont feel the ball no more and then it becomes difficult to control if you dont feel where your balls are gonig to land.

1st string job on mine was at 50lbs (MSV Focus Hex Plus 25), and found it harsh... On the second outing with it (I supposed tension must have dropped off a bit, or quite a bit) it got much much better, on third outting (even more drop-off? ) it was the sweet spot.

So second stick been strung at 48lbs mains x 46 crosses - with the drop-off it will sit at around 44 or 42 ? should be really the spot for me.
