Classic frame with old strings or new string?

hello, going to use old frame (play when i was 16!), Prince Graphite Pro 90 & Prince Power Pro 90.
not sure to use best string for these (they are going to be delivred next week)

first possibility, using full bed synthetic gut, like prince original, or tecnifibre S-gut.
second: using old hybrid, kevlar on main and S-gut on cross, like old setup agassi.
third, using poly on very low gauge (why not using focus hex on 1.10mm?)

They are very flexible rackets with open string-beds, so should work best with a lively string like a syngut as you imply with the thin poly, but the syngut would need to be reasonably high tension e.g. 55lbs. I would string one in medium gauge Prince Syngut Original (no dura coating), then see how you find that before deciding on Kevlar or Poly hybrids.

Go with a full bed of prince original syn gut and string it at the highest recommended tension.

I tend to use multis, syn. gut, gut or a hybrid of those with my classic racquets no matter if they're standard, mid, mid-plus or oversize frames--they weren't made to play with poly.

I wonder if you're speaking this from your experience or conjecture. That there was no poly when they were made does not mean they don't pair well. My experience is that classic racquets play well with poly just like other more modern racquets do.

there is 3 years, i played with wilson ultra 95 (3 versions, ceramic, graphite ans graphite SL and try hyper G with them, it was very great).. wight was too much for me! ultra 95 over 368g, my actual prince graphtie pro 90 are 335-337g strung!

I think you should use Prince Synthetic Gut mid range so you can get a feel what it was like in the 80’s.
