The same parties he apologized to in his Instagram post.Which parties?

Are you suggesting this DQ was politically motivated??!
Good on him for apologizing.
Now make sure to never do that again.
Djokovic has been accused of 'being a Caesar' for setting up an Association by an insider.
Disgusting decision by the umpire and USTA
He turned tail and ran like a coward. You make a mess, you clean it up where you made it.Good on Novak. I really hope he will learn from this.
I don’t get why people said he should’ve apologized in the PC instead. Have you never done something wrong/made a mistake before? Have you never needed some time to think about the situation and your actions before saying something that you’ll regret or say something that you don’t mean? We’re all human and in these types of situations, we need to step back and clear our heads before we respond. He’s not a robot and he did the right thing here.
Your posts make me want Novak to destroy Rafa for 7 more years on hardcourt just so I can see you cry, and Rafa is an ok guy. You are the absolute worst.
I know Rafa is an ok guy. I don't have to constantly defend his behavior like you need to for Novak.
Don't know why you are taking this out on me. Novak brings this on himself. A lot of people think he's a tool. If you think I'm being harsh on him, avoid twitter. LOL!
I don't have to like Novak as a person or respect his actions, to give him credit as a tennis player. And I always give him his due as a player. But he's not your child or a family member. Stop babying this guy because you are a Stan. He's given people just cause to think he's an awful guy, so maybe you just need to accept that people dislike him for good reason.
she probably didn't see what hit her, so she was more shocked then in pain.I watched it back and it didn’t look that bad to me. She maybe overreacted
You always give him credit as a tennis player? You are a disgruntled, obsessive fan, nothing more, who does not posses to maturity to handle his favorite's losses and has since developed a hatred of the player who stopped him the most from winning. At the same time, you think Rafa can do no wrong. That's it in a nutshell.
You pretty much just described yourself.
I love irony.
And yes, I do give Novak enormous credit as a player. I think he's going to end up being greater than Fed, and could easily end up being greater than Rafa. What more do you want from me? Blood? To call Novak my Lord and Savior? LOL!
she probably didn't see what hit her, so she was more shocked then in pain.
Lol Caesar didn't set up anything. Man of the people, who everyone got jealous of, and stabbed him.Djokovic has been accused of 'being a Caesar' for setting up an Association by an insider.
From your psychological point of view, I don't doubt that that's exactly how you see it.
Oh please, as if you have ever given him his true due on this board as a player, and this last section is you trying to appear somewhat credible to save face. Like Gabe told you, you're a child.
I’m sorry, and here’s a picture of me.
I don't know how I would have reacted in that moment. That's why I don't want to judge him.Very. But should have done it on site. But I get it.
Stans gonna stan.
From your psychological point of view, I don't doubt that's exactly how you see it. The fact that neither you nor Gabe T can comprehend how and why so many people see Novak as a raging A-hole, actually suggests your hero-worship and obsession is so deep, that you can't actually be reasoned with.
I'm fully convinced that if Novak pulled out a gun and shot some random civilian in the face at point blank range, you'd find a way to blame the civilian for rudely being in the way of Novak's bullet.
If Novak misses out on having the most GS count by just 1, he would surely look back on this incident and cry a river....
Agreed. He’s trying too hard again.decent response
just the "i wont disclose her name" part was weird, nobody is asking for that
My god, you're ridiculous. I think it was the right call you cretin, as do the majority of the Novak fans on here I have seen comment about it. Stop typing child.
Except Spencer.I don't know how I would have reacted in that moment. That's why I don't want to judge him.
We are all humans. We are all flawed...
Yep, very surprised but pleased with Djoker fans today. My god, you're ridiculous. I think it was the right call you cretin, as do the majority of the Novak fans on here I have seen comment about it. Stop typing child.
He's not Serbian, lol.LOL!
Unfortunately for you, this isn't TT Warehouse Serbia.
He's not Serbian, lol.
Totally Agree, Great Post!He needed time to digest what had just happened IMO. That would have been a massive shock to the system. He owned up to the mistake he made. And yes, he made a mistake, and the correct decision was taken, no one is above the rules, not even my fav. It is a shame it ended the way it did, but it is what it is. I sincerely hope he and others learn from his wrong actions on the court.
He could also look back on this year's Wimbledon being cancelled. I really can't wait for 2020 to be over and done with.If Novak misses out on having the most GS count by just 1, he would surely look back on this incident and cry a river....
He should have apologized in person instead of running for the airport in a huff. Somebody else most likely wrote that apology to contain the fallout.Nice gesture by Nole. Just what he needed to do.
Nothing wrong with Serbs. He's not Serbian, lol.
Definitely agree with that. But in the end he apologized. He should have apologized in person instead of running for the airport in a huff. Somebody else most likely wrote that apology to contain the fallout.
Very different to RG 2016. That was in anger. This was not in anger it literally was just bad luck. He has done much worse in the past. It just feels the US Open is a bad event for himI know full well that he didn't want to smash that line judge's face in, but as a professional you are expected to follow the code of conduct out there. This isn't the first time something like this happened, I was very annoyed with him back at RG 2016 when he threw his racket in the fourth round and just barely missed a line judge, which would have cost him the RG title...he didn't learn from it.
And here, it was all from his own wrong doing. I know it was not intentional, but I am not going to excuse him either. He owned up to it, and that is all I can ask. I just hope now he finally controls his emotions, it is OK to be frustrated, but don't do certain things.

Cry moarThis is nonsense.
The guy skipped the press conference. That was the right venue to deliver a "classy apology". Not on instagram, once he got on his private jet.
He just doesn't get it, and never will. He's a spoiled, arrogant primadonna who thinks he's bigger than the sport. The most unlikable man in tennis.
And sorry to all the Djokovic stans who will hate me for saying this, but a lot of neutrals will feel the same way.
He went to check on her at the court and he probably did apologize to her.Punk move doing it on social media. He should have apologized to all parties in person, like a 17-year-old Denis Shapovalov did three years ago. Novak still has some growing up to do.
Nailed it. I wasn’t at all surprised that this happened and vividly recalled the racket bounce incident. Honestly, he can internalize this mess and become a better person/professionalI know full well that he didn't want to smash that line judge's face in, but as a professional you are expected to follow the code of conduct out there. Do you think it was justified?Much better than attending the press conference when emotions are running high and you can't articulate what you are feeling, and you can barely contain your anger and sadness. It will be ok champ. None of us are perfect.
This is nonsense.
