But Djokovic, Nadal is not in Rotterdam
ROTTERDAM - The contestants for the 38th edition of the ABN AMRO tournament in Rotterdam is largely complete. Tournament director Richard Krajicek was announced Wednesday that Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic have committed themselves in February 2011 of the party.
To his regret Krajicek has not succeeded Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer to capture.
But were the world's top thirty Nikolai Davidenko, Marin Cilic, Marcos Baghdatis, Jurgen Melzer, David Ferrer and Ernests Gulbis added to the field.
''It's boring to always have winners of Grand Slams, so that's why we chose this time for the losing finalists''joked Krajicek.
De Bakker and Haase
The Dutch will be honored in any case by Robin Haase Thiemo de Bakker and defended.
Krajicek said he hoped the latter, through his ATP ranking access, allowing the wildcard in a later stage can be used for someone who'd surprised them at the Australian Open.
Previously, the top players John Isner, Tomas Berdych, Mikhail Joezjni, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and defending champion Robin Soderling already been determined.
Satisfied
Krajicek was pleased. ''Ideally you want the number one or two of the world on your tournament, but despite the fact that this is not successful, we have a well entrants. It is important that Djokovic (world number three, ed) there is present.''
Nadal said about the tournament boss:''I was told last week that he is not medical advice. He will be in February but an event and chooses to play the Davis Cup.''
Federer
That would not participate Federer was already known. Krajicek has yet ventured beyond the 'no' even a phone call to Nadal. But he prefers''a week of training over the tournament.''
Krajicek also said of De Bakker and Haase in the future to expect great things. ''I think the direction they will go top twenty or thirty. Bakker may at any time in the world are turning.''
The ABN AMRO tournament takes place from 7 to 13 February.
