Why don't they sell more clay court shoes in the US? Tennis Warehouse Europe has a much better selection. I live in Virginia and the majority of the courts in my area are clay and I know much of the east coast is similar.
I'd guess that at least 80% of the courts in the US are hard. Probably more. I was in my thirties before I played on anything other than a hard court (I grew up in CA), and I started playing when I was 13, so that tells you something. (I live in Maryland now, and our club has indoor Har-Tru and outdoor hard. So I get both.)
Pretty hard to find anything but hard courts here in the *******. Looks like I need to head south & east to find any decent clay. But playing on clay is something I really want to try.
