He's fully fit, proven Best of 5 sets (3 GS finals plus won 1 GS), Made rome finals here beating tsitsipas in straight sets..

Overall in excellent form in 2023.

Not impressed with Alcaraz and Djokovic form going into RG. Medvedev has better GS resume than Alcaraz, alcaraz is still young and has a lot of off days.

Med's also now, the 3rd favourite for Wimbledon behind Djok and Alcaraz. No Kyrgios likely as injured chasing robbers in Canberra

Let's see him win Rome first.

And he'd still be a massive underdog against Alcaraz or Djokovic regardless. As well as he's played on the dirt this season, winning 3 sets against any of the other top 10 players is going to be quite an undertaking for him in Paris.

Tsitsipas has had a nightmare season, it’s not like Medvedev was a major underdog in this matchup.

He’s still well behind Djokoraz. But he can make a deep run.

We already see him in Rome and he beat two clay specialists Zverev and Tsitsipas in straight sets. Medvedev always plays well against Djokovic and has already beaten him on clay. I don't think he's a massive underdog. There will be problems with Alcaraz, but he is far from Nadal on RG.

He has a good chance. I put him possibly in the top 4/5 contenders now. He’s proven he deserves that merit. Meddy has improved a lot on clay and with no Nadal at RG, he has an outside shot. He’s not the favourite but cer in the mix.
