Just wondering if anyone had been to any of the Cliff Drysdale touring camps? They look like they might be fun, but would it be worth the expense - and do you really learn anything? How many hours of instruction do you get?

The Cliff Drysdale Tennis Touring Camps are fully-interactive, three-day clinics held at prestigious tennis clubs throughout the country. The program is open to both adults and juniors and players of all levels. Although many of the Touring Camp locations are private clubs, most will allow non-members to participate.

Cliff Drysdale's goal for the Touring Camps is to provide tennis enthusiasts a chance to improve their game by training with accomplished tennis professionals - and have some fun in the process!

I went to one here in Bakersfield, CA about eight years ago. From what I remember there was 6-8 people per pro/trainer, you got about five hours on the court a day with lessons, drills, etc. Then in the afternoons you would compete in a round robin tournament that culminates on the last day. I found it very nice, although I didn't have any comparisons. It did help my strokes a lot though. I don't think it could hurt.
