Clijsters vs Mauresmo Spoiler

I beg to differ... Kim played a match against Hingis with 40+ unforced errors. This is from a NICE scorekeeper too. Should have been 50+.

Also Mauresmo might be in the best form of her life and winning the year-end championships has given her that confidence she never had. She uses spin and variety which this surface awards.

I have Mauresmo in straight sets. 6 - 4, 7 - 5
 
I think the roof being shut helps Mauresmo - but not sure it's going to be enough to help her win the match.

Kim in 3 sets - 4-6, 6-3, 6-2
 
It's in the third set now. Two successive breaks, and now Clijsters slips and gives a break to Mauresmo.
 
Man that's so unfortunate :(. Hate for the match to end that way. I just turned on the TV too. How was the match? I have it recorded. Worth watching the first 2 sets?
 
I was sorry Kimmie hurt herself with that ankle twist. But I have to say she didn't seem to be enjoying herself out there, in this match or her previous one, and I'm glad she withdrew. She just wasn't her normal affable self.

Perhaps her back and hip probs have worn down her usually sunny disposition. She would have had another not-very-happy experience had she advanced to the final.

Hope she is back and playing and being happy soon.

I hope these injuries don't push her closer to retirement. I like watching her game. Her forehand is a rocket. Plus it's kind of cool seeing shrek play tennis :).

I think she'll definitely play till her official "good-bye"-tournament in Antwerpen next year - still it's way to soon :(

Shrek? That's funny, but mean, man! I think she's kind of cute and I like watching her.

When she came back on tour she looked to have lost some weight. She may have gained some of it back though. I noticed a small pooch in her stomach area along with some around her neck area but damn I may have been looking too closely. She does clean up well though.
 
Too bad Kim was injured. She was playing on one good leg. In my view she should have skipped the event. Now she should take as much time as she need to come back at 100%.

I hope Mauresmo head is in game mode and she gives us a competitive final.
 
Only one thing to say: may the best person win, whoever it may be as they'll be a derserving winner for coming so far.
