Closest RF Racquet compared to the original Pro Staff 85

I love the original St. Vincent 85 Pro Staff (strung with gut mains at 43 lbs and big banger cross at 40lbs) - I’m a 5.0 player- that recently had my 5th knee surgery- I’m finally back in the game. I have been trying out the Autograph RF (With the same stringing as my pro staffs) and really like it but there’s something I can’t explain with regards to its weighting. I’ve been doing some research on which RF racquets have the closest feel/weight to the original 85 pro staff. What I found was that the Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90 was the overall favorite. Does anyone have any ideas?

basically it is how hard it is to twist a racket
this video helps explain it pretty well
Thank you so much. I also posted on the Rackets for him that which Roger Federer 90 had was the closest to the original pro staff 85. Do you have any suggestions or ideas.

Sincerely,

Allen

I'll throw this idea out there for a PS85 replacement: Angell Custom 90. It always felt like an easier to use PS85.

As for the RF97, the weight at the throat can make it feel awkward. I picked up a couple where it was really light and very headlight, like the older PS85.

Unfortunately there aren't too many mids on the current market, especially like a PS85 as it's quite unique. PS85 always felt like a scalpel, especially at net, and it was very solid.
Any recommendations with regards to any of the past Roger Federer 90 head tennis rackets?

Sorry y’all - one last question—— do y’all know or think Wilson will come out with another Roger Federer autograph tennis racket in the near future? Thank y’all for all the helpful information! I’m truly grateful!!!

All the Wilson 90s are very good except the white blx. The k90 is the best and closest to the 85.

The kps88 feels wonderful but the weight distribution is weird and it swings clunky. The headsize is really 90 even though they say 88.

I've moved to the Graphene Prestige MP after almost 10 years with the N and K 90s.

K Six.one Tour 90 is the closest to the PS85. I second the Angell TC90 though. Much easier to get and plays very much like a PS85 if you put some lead at 3&9.

If youre ok with a more flexier frame, Id probably suggest the prestige line of rackets some of the older models at least. The original graphene was nice and crisper feeling compared to the older prestiges that I have hit with, all of them were the mp models. ~95sqin. the mids are roughly 90 despite being labeled 93

Just find another used PS85. There is no real substitute. Angell TC90 or 95 with similar weighting/balance may come somewhat close, but I never was able to find a good surrogate. K90 swingweight is much higher than the PS85, which makes it quite a bit different in my experience. There just aren’t many racquets that can match the combination of plow through, control, and maneuverability the PS85 provides.

Oh gosh.... someone told me earlier that the white blx was the way to go?
I think PS 90 White BLX is amazing... Powerful strokes and it's feel really nice when I hit the slices... But, in my opinion K90 and N90 is still ahead of white BLX, does the serves really well, easy for me to hit ace during serves, (I like doing overhead shots) sorry for my bad English, love from Indonesia

Thank you... Thank you... It's my first day using Tapatalk, and I'm really happy right now cause I could find people talking about ProStaff a lot in here... Btw, I only had two of PS90 white BLX, and when I play with those racquet I need to put the dampener to reduce the vibration... (It's old, not so much vibration when it's still new, had these racquet since 2012, bought it because RF won 2012 Wimbledon)

So think that the K Factor 6.1 is better than your white BLX? https://www.****.com/itm/Wilson-K-F...255795&hash=item2adb588b68:g:fkMAAOSwBYpd5pRM
