Closest to Old Wilson Pro Staff

Seems like this question comes up so often. If Wilson renewed/expanded their Pro Staff line beyond the current KPS 88 and came up with some lighter, box-beamed, slightly-more forgiving modern versions, they'd make a killing.

You can sometimes find lighter KPS88s out there. I have one at 12.7 oz stock that I requested from TW. Sometimes they have them and sometimes they don't. I use the 12.7 oz (12.9 with overgrip) when I'm not feeling 100%.

Yes, yes they would. Box beam is superior in every way unless it's in an unmaneuverable, sluggish, muted package like their current offerings. They won't listen. Companies never do. It's cheaper to make the BLX. Only reason they are offering it.

nothing comes close, BLX lacked feel surprisingly.. and felt sluggish as the K90 did..

Not good Morten. I was waiting for your updates...we like the same racs. I'm back to the 6.0 85. NOTHING touches it unfortunately. I wish I had purchased 10 more rather than wasting money on the 50+ racquets I've purchased in the last 10 yrs. From now on, I'll never even demo a non-box beam racquet. Flex, feel (or lack thereof) of tubular frames just don't work for me.

same boat indeed.. :) :( i a back to the 85 too..... with some lead just above the handle

I have two PS 6.0 95's the K90s were little heavy for me. I'm getting an Asian BLX 90 which is lighter than the US BLX 90. Wish they made a box frame 95
