Wonder where Knoll will end up. Maybe sit out a year and take a job next year? Somewhere like Washington?

Will the current Washington coach no longer be the coach at that time or something?

He's been mentioned as a hot seat candidate for a couple years now and they missed the tournament this year. If they don't make the tournament next year, they could make a move. Pure speculation btw

Maybe Nebraska, Pepperdine or SMU. He's already proven he does not need to be handed a great school or venue to win. Why does it make sense to me he would end up at a place like either SMU to stay in Texas or Nebraska to build a champion from the ground up? For an even more ridiculous super longshot guess, he takes Boland's USTA job. HAHA!

Pepperdine already made a hire, it's like a line call, don't make that mistake

Yeah, Adam Schaechterle is the new men's coach at Pepperdine. He comes from Notre Dame where he was the associate head coach.

Mass exodus of non-revenue sports coaches and assistant coaches from Oregon in the last few weeks has raised some eyebrows.

Brian Nelson took the University of Wisconsin Green Bay head coaching job, he was the head coach at Seminole State Junior College the last 11 years in Seminole, OK.

Saw a similar exodus this year at my alma mater D2 Emporia State. Coaches moving to better paying jobs in this case. Also guessing the school wanted to save money with new coaches hired in at lower salaries.

Anyone know what happened to the Men's Coach at Butler? He was suspended in April and subsequently fired I guess.

No idea on the circumstances so this is conjecture, but wouldn't Oregon have a lot of Nike money?

Oregon has gobs of money in their athletic department, and good coaches are leaving all at once. Sorry, I don't buy the benign explanations. Stay tuned and we will hear more, eventually.

From a UVa message board host, after UVa hired Oregon women's golf coach and before the Oregon tennis coach left for Notre Dame:

Head Coach Mike White (9 years) - Softball (Texas)
Head Coach Ria Scott (9 years) - Women's Golf (Virginia)
Associate Head Coach Andy Powell (13 years) - Track & Field (Washington)
Assistant Coach Maurica Powell (13 years)- Track & Field (Washington)

Wow I didn't see that White had left for Texas. He built Oregon into a softball powerhouse but there were starting to be some unhappy rumblings because the team hasn't been able to get over the hump in OKC. Maybe he left to do to Texas what he did at Oregon and doesn't have to worry about falling short in the World Series (for now)

My post was conversational. Poorly written, but conversational. :)
