Next Monday you can kick off the U.S. Open by taking on five-time Grand Slam doubles champions Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan in New York City. The ATP is inviting the public to play tennis with ATP doubles teams in 10-minute rotations at a street court set up at the World Financial Center near the marina in lower Manhattan from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, the opening day of the U.S. Open. Martin Damm and Leander Paes and Paul Hanley and Kevin Ullyet are also scheduled to participate in the "Doubles Rules" promotion, an interactive event that showcases the unique attributes of the game and serves as a fundraiser for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the official charity of the Stanford Financial Group. Tennis balls and racquets will be available on loan to all participating players or bring your own racquet. Participants will be asked to make a suggested donation of $10 to be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
