Comfortable string set-up for Babolat AeroPro Drive 2012

G.O.A.T.
Hi folks,
I've been playing with Babolat AeroPro Drive 2012 since 2012, and it was all fine, though I can't say that I was hitting anything close to solid, so perhaps the all fine comes only from hitting at mild pace.
Then when the grommets started falling apart, I pulled the trigger and purchased the Pure Aero in 2018.
In both cases I played with Babolat RPM Rough

since I don't enjoy "pushing" that much, I try to get back to the level where I can hit the ball properly.
With the PA this translated into occasional pain in the left wrist. Nothing serious, at least yet, it doesn't prevent me from training or playing, yet I would prefer to play it on a safe side.

I am testing right now the Head Gravity line, yet I had some pain in the shoulder.
It seems to be a great frame, but due to the pain in shoulder so far from these 2 weeks of testing it doesn't seem like a rational change.
The pain I get in shoulder from Gravity is bigger than the pain I get in the wrist from PA.

So, what is your experience with stiff Babolat frames.
If I decide to stay, part of the problem would be mitigated by ordering grommets for my old Aeropro drive. It's not as stiff as the PA 2018.
Yet, what is your experience with stringbed.
If I keep the RPM Rough for mains, would an adjustment of crosses make Babolat rackets friendlier to my wrist?
What crosses would you recommend?

Sounds like a technique issue.

I'd say go with hybrid of multi main/poly cross first, then if things still don't improve, full-bed synthetic gut or full-bed multifilament at around 50lbs. It doesn't sound like your game would benefit from full bed poly strings at the moment. Then hire a coach to get your groundstroke techniques looked at.

I suspect the different SW and/or balance of the Gravity line may have caused you to swing differently swapping from PD/PA. Stick with one and get your techniques sorted out first.

Thanks, but my coach doesn't have any comments technique related to my backhand.

On top of this, I know that it is not 100% correlated, by my backhand is as well not a liability. Right now I wish good luck to folks trying to attack my backhand, but in general, I have the capability to attack and force many errors or go for winners from BH wing. Various shots, DTL, CC, short CC, even at times run around and hit inside in or inside out BH, OK, the later probably takes opponents more by surprise.
Essentially I don't have the need to run around and hit FH instead of BH. A bit of training the proper hitting, and my BH is good to generate points on its own.
That's why I don't think that a flawed technique would let me have a consistent BH with a variety of rackets in a time of approx. 20 years in tennis.

there have been as well a few occasions when PA gave issues with the right wrist, but they were isolated, while the left wrist tends to repeat.
and I would guess it is not exactly a coincidence between the PA stiffness and the issues with the wrist, as latest PA was designed with slightly lower stiffness.

so I would appreciate experience related to making PA / APD more comfortable by adjusting the strings / tension
