Sampras must've played 3 of those 5-setters against Agassi. That's just so weird. During Sampras's long career, he played GS 5 setters against only 2 players! What's the fellow's name, Rafter or Safin?

The analytics (Elo) people never thought much of the Sampras/Agassi gen, now I can see why. Those analytics people thought a lot of Borg/McEnroe, and the current big 3.

took me a while to verify this 2-2 claim for Sampras -so it's 2000 AO semi (Loss), 1995 W Semi (Won), 1998 W final (Won) and 1998 US open (loss) which i didnt know about
