Confused about Wilson N cODE Six-one 95

Hi

My father has been playing with Wison Pro Staff Classic 6.1 for like dozen of years now and he is considering a switch. So he is checking out Wilson N Code six-one 95. So I checked out the internet shop in my country and it has two types of N codes:

1. N code six-one 95: weight 333 gr and 18x20 string pattern
2 N code six-one 95 Team: weight 295 gr and 18x20 string pattern.
This is the info from this store's website.

So I just checked the TW site and the info is different:

1. N code six-one 95: weight(strung 343 gr or something like that) and 16x18 string pattern!
2. N code six-one 95: weight 346 gr and 18x20 string pattern.

So I am confused now. Which info is the right one? (I presume the TW one). And secondly which racquet would suit my father better and which one is closer to his current Pro Staff 6.1 Classic? Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, the 18*20 string pattern is new and only available for presale. Its coming out in late October, this pattern will give your dad more control, but slightly less power.

i believe there are 3 versions of N code six-one

1. Six-one 16x18
2. Six-one 18x20 (Euro Tour version)
3. Six-one team 18x20 (295g version)

three scenarios

1. TW lists wrong name; shouldn't be the Team version

2. TW lists wrong figures (weight, etc.) of Six-one Team

3. Wilson releases the Euro Tour version of Six-one 18x20 as the Six-one Team in the U.S.

check this out:http://www.wilsoncoach.de/pdf_doc/wilson_katalog_de.pdf

or i could be totally wrong  :? :?:

2) N-code 61 95 16x18 (310gm/10.9oz, balance unstrung 31.5cm)
3) N-code 61 95 Team 18x20 (289gm/10.2oz, balance unstrung 33cm)

I hate there are so many version and just only the lighter version available in asia

Thanks a lot finchy. I think you are not wrong. It is just the European info is a little diferent than US. So here in Europe 18x20 and 16x18 version of NCODE 95 is available. So the info on my countrys internet store is right. It was all clear to me after reding this German catalog.

I have picked up a demo today at my Dutch tennisstore. It is a N-code Six One Team with a 18x20 string pattern and its weight is 289 grams.

I wonder how it will play

What models are available and what weight etc?

Thanks

Poncho I don't know where you live but in Europe you have those options:

1. Ncode six-one 95: weight 332 g 18x20 string pattern
2. Ncode six-one 95. weight 332 g 16x18 string pattern
3. Ncode six-one 95: weight 289 g 18x20 string pattern

And you have Ncode six-one with 90 sq in head with 340 grams and 16x19 string pattern. Check out this German catalog in finchy's post for better understanding.

All the price of N-code 61 are same (Tour, 95 & Team) about HK$1400 (US$179), and the supply is limited, so they don't have any discount now(In HK, buying a racket usually have discount from 10-30% off), I think a few month later when the supply become stable, the price will be drop. :D

where might i be able to buy this lighter nCode Tour 90?

I have bought one US version from TW, except the weight, their balance are different(labelled inside the throat), 12 point HL for US and 9 point HL for Asia version, the paintjobs are no different, but recently I have seen some different on the latest stock, just a little bit different, there are "16x19" painted silver color on outside of throat, beside "n-code six-one Tour". :?:

I don't know there are any on-line store in Asia, Sorry I can't help! :(

Anyone know how Wilson make these racket in different weight?
Add the weight average on the racket or just add inside the handle? I think all the weight is adding inside the handle, that because the 320gm's balance is 9point HL and 340gm's is 12point HL, is that right? Anyone know that? Please help!
