Confusing Swingweight of Different Head L6/Prestige

I'm using Head L4/Radical for quite some time but now I'm thinking of sth heavier.

But when I try to get some L6/Prestige, I'm confusing by the different swingweight for different L6 version.

As I can know, the swingweight is mainly determined by the Strung Weight, Balance Point. But pls below Liquidmental/Flexpoint/Microgel L6, they almost have the same strung weight & balance point, but the swingweight of Liquidmental L6 is much more heavier than Flexpoint & Microgel L6.

Can anyone explain to me why?

And does anyone really feel that Liquidmental L6 is heavier than Flexpoint & Microgel L6 when hitting?

The L6 is just a guide to show you were the racquet fits in the HEAD line-up. It is a swig style rating guide. Nothing more. "L" stands for Long. So L6 means that it is recommended that you have long loopy strokes to use this racquet because it is low powered. It is just marketing.

The Prestige is a heavier racquet, but is balanced more headlight, which makes it easier to swing. The Radical is balanced more toward the head, making it a heavier swinging frame.

:shock:Here the L6 just stands for the Prestige Mode...

My Puzzle is about why same strung weight & balance will have so much difference in swingweight:confused:

I used to play with the LM mid, I didn't think its SW was that high (340!)... anyway, strung weight & balance point don't always give you the right SW. It also depends on what the mfrs put in the hoop, the way it's shaped, etc. I think it's best to grab a bunch of sticks, go out & hit some balls, then decide which one you like best and can grow with. Don't get too hung up on the #'s, they're just rough guidelines & 2 sticks with the same static weight & balance might hit differently, as you've witnessed with the Prestiges.

They adjusted the weight distribution from concentrated more at the ends to concentrated more in the center. This made the racquet more maneuverable but reduced the plow through. So then they moved a little weight back to the ends to find a happy medium. (the whole time keeping overall weight and balance the same)

This happens quite frequently. As the above poster mentioned, swingweight is not just a calculation of weight and balance, it's much more complex. Swingweight is affected by WHERE on the head the weight is distributed. Two racquets with the same weight and balance point will have totally different swingweights if one concentrates the weight at the 3/9 o'clock position and the other has it at the throat and tip of the head.

head prestige flexpoint mid and microgel flexpoint mid and i have played liquid metal mid. the liquid swings slower and i think sucked. the flexpoint swings fast, the microgel swings a little bit slower but is perfectly balanced.
