very happy for a young Canadian guy Filip. Hopefully, he'll be able to become a successful tennis pro. as for Nole and Serena, well deserved and expected. Congrats to all of them.

Congrats to Filip especially...but as for Nole and Serena, does anyone really care about this award other than it being used as the basis for boring debates about who was "really" player of the year? I got so sick of reading about whether it should go to Nole vs. Murray vs. Fed.
