I'm rooting for Novak, but expecting Rafa, given his current form, to take it. On Novak's side is his persistent refusal to lie down and die. He produces the most amazing shots when he's match point(s) down. I'm expecting a terrific final! It will be a treat for us fans.

But Borg retired when he was Nadal's age, I mean who would have beaten him in 1982 RG? It's a record with an asterisk in my opinion.

Someone posted a documentary about Borg which i had never seen before on youtube. In this documentary, by 1982, Borg was no longer the player he once was. He didn't care if he would win or lose. And he lost many matches to players he used to beat before his retirement. the 1982 RG champion was Mats Wilander. After having seen this documentary, I am pretty sure Wilander would have beaten Borg.
I've seen this exhibition tournament from 1983 (there was a huge amount of prize money so it wasn't like a modern "exo", fun and jokes).

I like Djokovic but I hope Nadal would win because Djokovic has beaten Nadal in the last 3 GS titles already and a rivalry is not a good one if one player keeps on beating the other player at the GS tournaments.

This. The result of this final is more of a foregone conclusion than even last year's final against Fed . Lol. Even Fed with all his mental blocks against Nadal had more hopes of causing an upset last year because he was playing really well. Those who give Nole any chance here have not watched Nadal/Nole play during the entire clay season.

That's the most incredible sports documentary I've ever seen. Borg pouring his heart out. I guess the money motivated him with that Exhibition from 1983, and it being his last match and wanting to go out on a high, but the French Open with it's tiny prize money just wasn't enough to motivate him anymore.
