I gotta admit. Murray has won all of his titles this year through literally the hardest way. He had to save 5 CP's vs Robredo at Shenzen, had to break back the moment David Ferrer was serving for the championship in Vienna and again had to save 4 CP's vs Robredo to win at Valencia.

All thse wins will surely give him more confidence in the future. I mean his biggest problem this year has mostly been the unsettled mental game. But after winning all these close finals, I think his mental game will be back on track ;)

Let's hope he is back in the top 4 once again in 2015 :)
 
This win practically secures him making the WTF (baring a miracle performance from Raonic and Ferrer at paris) so the good thing is he'll get some practise in against the top 8 in preperation for next year. Whilst I agree he's not quite back to beating the big boys yet, its baby steps. Its more about fitness and pressure handling. Both of which he's been showing for the past 5 weeks. He'll be back beating the big boys next year!
 
Congratulations to Andy on winning his 31st title. After going nearly all year without even making a final, he's now appeared in 3 and won 3 all in the space of a month! He seems determined to finish what has been a pretty poor season by his standards on a high!

Hopefully he will have gained enough confidence from all this to be primed and ready for an assault on the big titles come next season!

This proves that Murray is part of the Big 4. The ability and the will to bounce back after a dissapointing season.

Tsonga,Delpo,Berdych/Ferrer wouldn't have done anything like this ;) The same can be said for Wawrinka.
 
Congratulations indeed and also to his great fans who stand by him through thick and thin, especially this year. Am I right in thinking that Murray has now won 31 titles which includes 2 Slams, 9 Masters 1000, 4 500s and the Olympic Gold?
And yet there are still some out there who rank him closer to the likes of Wawrinka, Del Potro and Ferrer rather than Fedalovic. What a joke!!!

Simple question : Are his accomplishments closer to Delpo, Stan and Roddick OR closer to Djokovic ?
 
I am glad he is getting into the top 8. None of the players ranked 5-8, would prefer to play him in the 4R of majors.

That said, I would like to see him win against Fed and Novak soon.
 
Happy for Murray to add another 500 title to his tally.

I've been following this weeks matches through tennis warehouse comments while ive been working.

Sounds like he has used every last drop of energy in this final. This should improve his fitness once he gets the chance to rest.

I'd like another deep run in Paris first though.
 
My congrats, too. Great showing of grit and determination to get (near to, I suppose?) qualifying for the WTF. He deserves all kudos for just that if not anything else.
 
Feel very happy for Murray, but also sorry for Robredo.

It must be tough to have CP's in two tourneys (vs the same opponent), but fail on both occasions.
 
what I like about Murray is the way he does everything the hardest way possible...

Congrats... coming back from surgery is never an easy thing.... He's at 98% but these days the level is so high that it takes 99% to post a win at a major. he's getting there.
 
He's now got that top 8 ranking ahead of the AO.
Next target, if possible, top 4 before AO. Can he do it?

He's not defending points in Paris but Dimitrov and Djokovic in the 3rd round/quarter final makes a big points gain unlikely.

He should be in the WTF now so he could get some points there.

Does anyone know if he will play Brisbane/Doha before AO for more points or will he skip that given he will be playing the hopman cup?
 
Murray's taking out some pent up frustration and clawing his way to victory. Love it <3. Hope the guy can stay healthy and use this confidence to do some great things in upcoming months.

Are Fed/Nadal/Djoko the only top opponents on tour then? And what are important tournaments, only the GS and WTF?

Perhaps wwe should just play those tournaments and start each with the SF between Murray/Fed/Nadal/Djoko and be done with it....

OT: No matter who you are, winning 3 tournaments in such a short timespan, including an ATP500 and beating Ferrer and Robredo twice, is impressive.

Congrats to Murray, hopefully he can further work on his confidence at the WTF by winning 1 or 2 matches.

Yay Muzz! Feel bad for Tommy but glad Andy is gradually climbing up the rankings and establishing himself as a legit elite player again. 3 quick titles in relative succession...it's still great no matter the size of the titles.

Looks like one of the numbers in the RF part of your sig is wrong. You changed one number but not the other. Just FYI :). Let's see if you can figure it out. ;)
