After the French Open I was worried about the emotional baggage of losing in such a manner vs Carlitos. His loss to Bublik in Halle didn't help matters either.

Instead he focused at Wimbledon and he faced defeat vs Dimitrov but he was given a reprieve in the most unfortunate of circumstances and then as he took apart Shelton and Djokovic he looked like a Man on a mission. Sinner beat the best player on Grass for the last 2 years, his nemesis who he hasn't beaten since Beijing in late 2023.

Sinner's mentality has impressed me ultimately. I hope the Sinner fans celebrate.

Honestly today was a win win. Obviously for Sinner as he won but also for Alcaraz. He lost the match, his first slam final.loss but his reaction to losing was a champions reaction. Obviously disappointed but he took it on the chin like a man was smiling , and is ready to kick on. We have two class acts here . Embrace the moment
