Contour grips

Does anyone here use contour grips? I've been using leather grips for a while now, but recently wanted to change one of my racquets to a synthetic grip. So last night, I installed a Wilson Cushion-Aire Contour grip on one of my racquets and played with it for about three hours. I hope I'm using the right terminology here, when I say contour grip I'm talking about a grip with the raised mound going around the grip (like a speed-bump on your grip).

Do any of you guys use them? What do you like about them? After using one last night, I'm kind of on the fence about it...I'm not sure whether I like it or not.

I've used and enjoyed Gamma Hi-Tech Contour grips in the past. Not sure that the ribs make that much of difference because I'm quite happy using the regular (smooth) Hi-Tech grips now. Perhaps the firmness and tackiness of these grips are the more important factors for me.

After awhile, the bumps flatten out. If you really like the bumps, you'll have to regrip pretty often.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with that. I've never had the ribs flatten out, even after extended use.
