Hey guys, wanna poll what type of racquet most of you prefer. I like both, but depending on the day I will lean one way or the other.

I’ve gravitated to control racquets since putting the ball where I want is much more important to my game than power. Power without control is meaningless. Control without power can still win you matches.

my favorite control line are the phantoms especially the 18x20 frames. But I like Blades as well.

Control. I used to prefer power, because I felt I had enough control. But didn't realize how much cleaner I could hit with a control racket.

Control racquet with lead tape for some easier power. Best combo for me. Plus my usual playing partners tend to handle pace really well, so I have to beat them with placement.

Power, I like enough leverage to return deep with a wrist flick even when I am literally falling or very much off balance.

But honestly, I have been playing a lot recently and it is mattering less and less. I guess I am getting stronger.

I prefer a control frame like the Blade v7 98 16 x 18 that offers good feel over high powered frame that has no feel. IMO control and feel give you confidence on your strokes.

control, because I like to slice the ball down the line in that same situation. I can do that with more precision with a control frame.

I used to love controlled frames but it requires more foot works because of low power. moved to powerful rackets then my foot works were terrible so choose decent powered rackets and trying to work on controls. It will not give pin point controls but middle of everything is better than just better for one side (either control or power) in my case.

Tried a clash recently and honestly liked it quite a bit. Easy power and pretty good control. May want some more lead, but it felt surprisingly good compared to my rackets that are control oriented and an ounce or more heavier.
