I feel like this thread could become a timecapsule for the future. Remember what gifs were like only before the popular uptake of broadband? Small, grainy, very few frames.

First part is probably true,
, but I don't know that I'd call it the "good old days." That was still only 2009. He was noticeably faster IMHO, between 2003 and 2005 than he was in 2009 for example. Of course he was fast in 2006 and 2007 too, but I think he was at his quickest from 2003-2005.
