It's the racquet flexing!

Photo is a still frame from a video taken with an ultra high frame rate video camera - probabily 4000 frames / second or even higher.

So even stiff racquets aren't as stiff as what many people think :)
You didn't have to speculate about the image. The hint was in the photograph - it is on Alamy's stock photo site, and clearly showing the catalog number of 'TYF53G'.

When you plug that in to Alamy, you get this:

It is one of Gary's photos: http://www.girphotos.com/www.girphotos.com/HELLO.html

He uses modern cameras, many capable of 1/12000 sec image capture, let alone the 1/4000 my 1990's era SLR was capable of.

These are the guys you see sitting in the photography pits strewn about the courts. These are the folks bringing you the awesome images you all have been sharing.

Also, image capture rate is a function of image resolution as well. And there is the issue of storage capacity to record and store the images.

But none of that changes what I said.

"Everyone should strive to be like Novak"
An important part of Novak's contractual relationship with HEAD is that he regularly demonstrates how tough and resilient the Head products are.

Roger would never consider doing such things with Wilson racquets because they are as flimsy as wet noodles.

Rafa would never consider doing such things with Babolat racquets because they are ... err hang on a minute ... Hmmm ... perhaps Rafa should be renegotiating his contract with Babolat?

That's not the real Alexander Zverev, that is a doppleganger.

The girl is toting more gold chains than the guy is. That is the give-away!

FEDR image looks like distortion from “rolling shutter.”

None of the cameras in the photographer group photo are “modern”: they’re all Canon or Nikon DSLRs which by virtue of statements and actions of The Big 3 camera manufacturers (Canon, Nikon and Sony) is a dead technology which they are no longer investing in.

Diego too, but some women like tall mens  there is a 40 cm difference between the two.
At 5’7”, Diego is still taller than most women. And in my experience women can’t tell very well how tall you are if you’re taller than them and not standing next to a giant.

Besides, average hispanic male height is 5’7”, so he’s only short away from home.
