With all of the buttons above the 'compose' box (including two sets of 'smileys' - one above the compose box, and another off to the right), would it be possible to add the popular Cut, Copy, and Paste trio of buttons?
These are often used things, and are found in most 'compose' areas. It would be appreciated if we could have them with both the main compose box and in the 'Quick Reply' box at the bottom of each page - but if only one is possible, it should be in the main compose box.
Would it be possible to increase the 'pause' time when we are logged in?
By this, I mean the time that we are automatically 'logged out' if we don't change pages. Currently, it seems to be set at about 30 minutes of inactivity before automatic log off. Some other websites/forums keep you logged in until you log yourself out (you are also automatically logged out if you leave the website). That would be nice to have here. Sometimes I'll begin writing a post, pause to do something else, and by the time I return and finish the post and click on 'Submit', I find that I have been logged off automatically, and must log in again, risking losing the post I had just typed.
Could the default for number of posts viewed per page be moved up from 10 to 20 (when we're not logged in)? Previously, it was at 15. 20 would be nice - fewer page changes needed.
Is there any way on the main forum pages to show the date a thread was created? We had this previously, but were told that there was some sort of problem with that function - which should be remedied with the new software.
