Cornet has missed 3 tests

During the Cornet/Garcia match the commentator said something about Cornet having to face a tribunal next month because she has missed 3 blood tests (UTE) in a row.

Players have to let the WTA/WADA/Anti-Doping authorities know where they will be for at least one hour every day.
Cornet is saying this is just a simple misunderstanding and a conflict of schedule.

After three missed tests players are typically suspended for a time.
It just sucks because I don't know if this quarterfinal result will stand if they choose to penalize her. That's a lot of points and money she'd have to give up and give back.

Having been involved with high level testing (cycling), my take is this is still going on because her appeal may have merit. The authorities could have egg on their face if they demonstrate THEY were in the wrong.

I can see missing one and then the next day being on the phone with them finding a way for it to be done to absolve yourself but she made no plans to ever test

you may be on to something... and if you look at her Twitter she abruptly stopped tweeting after announcing the case on 1/24 in a tweet.. that seems odd to me

She is pretty cut-throat in matches. She'll pull out every trick in the book to win. I remember a match she played against Jankovic. She about drove JJ mad with all her on-court antics. Doesn't take much to jank Jankovic' chain, either.. so it was very entertaining.

And then the match against Tatiana Maria. omg. Didn't she have a heart attack in that match?
And still won it.

I still want to give her the benefit of the doubt. But to miss three in a row is really bad. Some PEDs could certainly be out of her system from January to now.

Bingo!!! Tennis certainly does not want to find out. With the exception of Sharapova, look who’s been caught, Errani and Cornet. These aren’t really superstars who sell tickets.

And Boxing? What a joke Ortiz failed two tests, Povetkin 1 and they were back boxing. Canelo, The two Furys. The list goes on.
