Correspondence between perceived relative greatness and H2H

I am interested in a discussion about the examples of where the generally perceived greater player (in terms of career achievement) out of two has an inferior H2H eg Connors and Nastase. Generally Connors would be perceived as the greater player - but Nastase leads him in the H2H 12-8

What about others. The boring thing would be to talk about Federer/Nadal. But that has been rehashed a million times here. About about other pairings?

Safin - Santoro. Santoro didn't really accomplish much, but he still led Safin 7-2. He's still beating him in the IPTL to this very day.
