I purchased a yonex 97 vcore racket a while ago from **** which was said to be Márton Fucsovics... is it the real deal or did I have my pants pulled down? Thanks

I hope I am wrong (so that you havent been deceived), but from several Q and As he has given, I believe Fucsovics has always played off the shelf retail racquets (matched I'm sure but no specs altered), from the DR98 and later Ezone line.

I dont think he ever used a Vcore. From what I know he swapped from Tecnifibre straight to the DR98.

This is correct, the bottom number should end with a P.
Retail frames end with the code for the market it is intended to be retailed in.

I got a DR100 pro stock got letter TW at the end of the code. It's a XL version in standard paint job.

That's a retail frame, just the top two shared holes have been skipped making it 18 crosses not 20.

Characteristic Duel G throat detail.

Afaik Marton never used the Vcore Duel G / players frames and has only used the Ezone-esque line. I could be mistaken though.

Many thanks for the reply.

Thats a retail, NOT a pro stock! TW is Taiwan

Could you explain the xl length? I bought from reliable source in stringforum. Here is mine.

MSV is a small german company, their grips are hard to find outside the country, may be one of the previous (German?) owners wanted a custom XL handle like companies as ring and roll do. They customise for some minor pros. So a Player frame could be possible. But it is not a factory Yonex pro stock.

Nah dont focus on msv overgrip. I bought it. It is from wdstring website from uk. They could ship worldwide.
And one more thing my unstrung weight is 291gr.
So my point is dont focus on some code. Some paint job they've just paint the code like that.

I know some dr 100 standard pj pro stock in xl length floating around fleabay right now :D

Possible that it is a self made pro stock. But what it is for shure: Made as a normal retail racket for Taiwanese Market. What happened in his racket life after that...
(In the stringforum there are so many fake selfmade pro stocks, it is sometimes really funny)
