Could Nadal defeat Djokovic 2x in 9 meetings at AO like Djoker beat Rafa at RG.

We all know that Rafa is 7:2 vs Djoker at RG
We also know that Djoker is 2:0 vs Nadal at AO

Fuct is that all 7 wins are when Rafa won RG.
So, let's try to give some explanation.

Rafa almost beat Djoker in 2012 equally like Djoker almost beat Rafa in 2013.
That wasn't best version of Djokovic and Nadal was in fantastic form.
In other Djokovic's winning year(2008,2011,2013,2015,2016,2019,2020,2021), I don't think any version of Rafa could beat Djoker.

So, what left?
2007. Djokovic was teenager and even though he give Federer some problems. Nadal was humiliated by Gonzalez that year. I def. can see Djokovic pulling upset.

2009. This is safest bet for Rafa. Though, during that period Djoker was only one who could beat Rafa consistently on HC. Still, Rafa wins this one.

2010. Djoker wins this one.

2014. Djoker wins this one as well. Stanimal beat both.

2017. I think neither Fed or Nadal would beat Djokovic if they played. No matter if Djokovic form was nowhere like in last 5 year, he would beat both Fedal simply becsuse they would lost before even match started.

2018. This one is quite interesting. Djokovic was in terrible shape at start of 2018, however Nadal level at 2018 wasn't impressive. I don't know really.

And also, I think Djoker would.beat Rafa in 2016 RG if they played in SF.

He definitely can, but he hasn't given himself enough chances to meet him there. There were 3 years where Nadal was waiting but Novak didn't reach him. 2009, 2014, 2017. But the remaining years he could have done better, I mean Novak won 9 times there.


Moving forward I'd like to see Nadal take up the challenge and meet Novak at AO. They have played way too many times at RG. Heck Wimbledon and UsO will also do

And after AO 2019, I don't think Nadal's too excited to test that out.
