Could this setup give me tennis elbow?

Right now I have a bad case of tennis elbow. I was wondering if it could be related to my new string setup. PSGD in mains, Prince Synthetic Gut multifilament in crosses. Both at around 58 lbs. Thoughts?

Prince Multifilament doesn't have duraflex...is that a typo?

That's a fairly forgiving set up in terms of strings. You may want to go with full multifilament instead of the duraflex mains. You could also drop tension a little.

What racquet are you using, and have you had your form evaluated by a certified pro? Racquet and form play a huge role here, too.

I use the AeroPro. But i have been using it for years and haven't had any tennis elbow until I switched to this setup.

I can't say for sure about your arm, but I have a hybrid with CF mains and PSGD in the crosses, and I have no problems.

What's your tension?

YULitle is right...

Your previous set up is (in theory) much harder on the arm. Your new set up is far more forgiving in terms of shock. Perhaps your swing has changed to compensate for the new strings, or maybe you're playing a little too much (if there's such a thing ;)).

If you have tennis elbow with that setup you need to take a look at your technique or take a break to recover..
