Agreed...Young will find a way to lose.
How many men on tour with a 122 mph second serve? Definately not "most".
I meant 112-114, which is what I see more often than not when she gets into double faulting mode like the match against Cirstea.

Young by 10,000 miles.

Ferrer definitely hits a harder first and second serve than serena. He hits in the 120s much more consistently and his average second serve speed at wimbledon was about 100 mph, whereas serena's average second serve speed was around 85 mph.

All things being equal, men are bigger, stronger and faster than women. The male athletes who choose to become professional are going to be even bigger and stronger than the female athletes. It's not a big deal. They play on separate tours for that reason.
But Serena is much bigger than D Young, especially the thigh and the hip.
How about our own tony larson against Serena? tony would not even work up a sweat... maybe a little sweaty but not enough to change clothes after before going to the store.
Lets be honest. Serena has bigger balls than Young. Nothing intimidates her. Young has the physical advantage of being male. I give the mental edge to Serena and we all know that its mental at the top of tennis.

Really? I must have in the locker room and check them out.

Do we need to say any more than this.
The better question is men are used to returning serves well over 120 mph, it is not how hard you serve, it is more about how effective it will be. Serena's serve would not have the same effect as it does in the women's game. 120 mph is pretty pedestrian in the men's game.
