Cracked Prince buttcap?

Is this anything to be too concerned about? I was putting on a new leather grip and went to put a starter staple on the very beginning of the grip and put a crack on the buttcap. It is on the short side of a Prince buttcap - otherwise it seems fine, the original staples are still on there holding it onto the handle, I just have this crack on one side. I wrap the leather TIGHT - any chance that crack in the buttcap will be noticeable at all?

Unless it's obviously broken, whether or not it is "noticable" is dependendent on yourself, the characteristics of the crack (do pieces rub together and squeak, etc.), and how picky you are. If it's just a minor crack, it's not likely to make any difference at all as far as how the racquet plays. If it bothers you, you can just buy a replacement cap from TW for a few bucks.
