Creating a football team out of tennis pros?

First I want to make clear that I'm talking about football (soccer in the US) and not the other way around.

I have thought about this for a while and the team I came up with can be seen in the video below. The easiest choice was Monfils!

Who would make your team and what formation would you use?

That is quite nice!
In my team I would put Ferrer as box-to-box player instead of playing with 2 strikers, but I wouldn't change a thing otherwise.
Birdman would be a great center back too,a Boateng/Benatia type of player :)

I'd go 4-2-3-1, liked some of the OP's suggestions

Monfils; Ferrer, Djokovic, Murray and Nadal; Simon and Kukushkin; Feliciano, Federer and Dolgopolov; Janowicz

Tactics: Catenaccio
HC: Toni Nadal

You've just reminded me of an interview that Murray did back around Roland Garros 2014 where he was asked to recruit his own team, these were his picks and positions he chose. This was just before Amelie was hired as his coach but there was a lot of talk of her being in the crowd at his matches and the interviewer pressured him a little over that and Andy put her on the team.

He got some flack from Juan "Pico" Mónaco, who was upset at not being picked and then mysteriously implyed that he gifted Murray his 2009 Miami title of all things.

Monfils would probably be a sick keeper, I might give him a shot over Mignolet at LFC.

You know Bernard would make sure their home field is in Miami
