Crisp alternative / modification to Prince Textreme Tour 100P (2015 version)

Hi everyone,

Long-time lurker, first-time poster here.
The last 1.5 years or so I have been playing with the Prince Textreme Tour 100P (2015 version, so unstrung 305gr, 310mm balance).
Lots of things to like about the frame, but I feel like it lacked a bit of plow-through and power.
Therefore I recently added lead tape: 2 grams at 3 and 9, 1 gram at 10 and 2, and put some electrical tape over the lead to prevent the strips from flying off the frame.
This added the desired plow-through, which I especially enjoyed on my 2-handed backhand and backhand slice.
Forehand also feels good, although I still need to get used to this setup for serves and volley.

The thing is though, that I feel like this setup plays a bit too soft.
I know the racquet has a soft flex and thin beam, but is there any way to make the racquet play a bit more crisp?
Perhaps a different string setup may do the job? Currently using poly mains/syn gut crosses and I have my own stringing machine (easy to try out different strings).
I was thinking a stiffer poly than the MSV Co-Focus, perhaps in fullbed, may do the job? However I'm worried it may get too boardy/stiff.

If strings are not the answer, then what other frames would you recommend?

My playstyle:
Around 4.0 level
All-court player (S&V twice per service game or so)
Semi-western forehand
Two-handed backhand

Thanks!

The newer version of that frame is a few RA higher (65) with kevlar in it.

The ATS (twaron at 10 and 2 and in the throat) has been a really nice addition to the Phantom and Tour lines. Crisps them up nicely while still being incredibly arm friendly.

To the OP: a firmer poly will not really make the racket feel more firm. It will just make the string bed feel more board-like.
I'm not really sure what you are looking for. If a setup feels soft but provides power and control, isn't that Nirvana?
