1 minute into your 1st video... so far I see nothing wrong. Everything is excellent!

If I have to be really, really picky I'd recommand that you use shuffle step back to the centre of the court.

I'll only point out one thing you could work on.

On the FH, don't "jump" before the shot. Your feet should be planted, and only leave the ground as a result of the swing.

Good luck, and thanks for sharing.

Very Courierish. Maybe preparation a little earlier with both racquet and feet otherwise looks pretty solid.

Overall, I would say that both your forehand and backhand look pretty decent, though there is a lot of variation from one stroke to another.

Also, it seems you are sometimes late in preparing for your forehand, leaving you off balance or on your back foot.

I would say both things could be improved by starting your preparation a bit sooner (even as soon as your ball is leaving your racket) and making continuous small adjustments so you are properly set up for each stroke.

Nice game, on both your forehand and backhand, you need to move your body weight into the ball more, this can be done by the use of your front foot and hips.

By doing this you will feel increased power and also control, because you will be nice and balanced when you strike the ball, at the moment you're leaning back on most shots (only slightly)

Apart from that, very nice! Oh and speed up your footwork as people above me have said.

Looking good, but as some have said in the previous post, your footwork is a bit lazy leaving you off balance especially on your forehands. This results in either hitting of your back foot, or having to reach a bit for the ball.

I think Drak also had a valid point. Try to use your legs to move into the ball instead of upwards, as you are doing now.

At least that's what it looks like to me :)

Regards,
Maurice

You look like you know how to use your feet in certain places, I think you just get a little lazy ;)

On the two handed backhand, you are pushing down and through the shot with your left shoulder. Based on your swing path, I thing you would be better served by hitting a more closed stance (shoulders and hips pointed to the net) with more back to front weight shift because it looks like you are losing balance and leaning over using an open stance 2 handed backhand.

Also, you are not getting good left arm extension on that back hand. note in this video how Safin pushes the left arm through and straightens after contact.

A: you're at least a 4.0. Great job!
B: If that's 4.0, I must be 6.0. Looks 2.5 to me.
C: hahaha you must know nothing about tennis, post a video of yourself.
B: I don't know how. But trust me I can hit better than that. I've seen your videos you're no higher than 3.0
A: C is better than most ppl on this board, he will whoop yo ass

there, I've saved you guys the pain and condensed it down to 1 post. Now can we move on? :)

Hey Tropic how about you stop doing that? It just shows what a rude, cocky, ignorant kid you are.

Dunlopkid, your strokes look pretty decent to me, work on your footwork more, or else you're always going to be out of position and balance for your next shot. Good luck on your game.

Maybe, i dont really remember, i think he was talking to the boxer guy. But that is not important. What is important is that he gives good advice, good reviews, and at least he does not post immature pictures of a "lined" person giving people the middle finger.

Not "maybe", he was to you, the op, the boxer, and a lot of other ones. Ok

Ok bud, how about you stop posting unimportant things on someone's thread. Sheesh. Do you have to argue about every little thing?

Develop more consistency in your footwork. If you get lazy like that in a casual session, who knows when it could bleed over. Your strokes are consistent and you have good balance. On your forehand I'd like you to open your left arm a little bit earlier than you are right now, I think it will make the shot more fluid for you.

Backhand side I see no real problems, I mean I can't see the ball fly but it sounds like you're hitting it pretty decently. Your takeback reminds me a little bit of Safin's form. Did you model him?
