any comments?

Not a bad motion, however...

1. Try to decrease how widely you spread your legs. Try to shoot for shoulder width.

2. You're dropping your left arm too soon, which is causing you to drop your head, which is robbing you of accuracy and power.

These are just a couple of observations I see, your serve has a lot of potential. BTW, what racquet is that? Just curious...

i'm using a prokennex ki5 there. i think the asian version has a different pj.

thanks for the comments! keep them coming.

Main reason for lack of ballspeed and mainly, consistency is your trophy position hitting arm is waay too straight, and your racket is not held with an angle to your forearm, so you don't get the advantages of pronation.
Bend that elbow for the trophy position.
Hold your racket like a one handed backhand, not a pointing stick.
STOP, between your ball bounce and your toss.

hmm right now i am holding my racquet in between the EBH and chopper grip, is there anything wrong there?

what do you mean by the hitting arm being way too straight? sorry don't really get you.

thanks for the comments!

your shoulder is dropping too fast and your motion looks different from the first serve to the last, not quite consistent yet.

It's hard to tell from this angle, but to me it looks like you are tossing the ball behind you.

Edit: Eh...maybe it just looks like that because you are dropping your arm to fast...can't tell.

oh the last serve was my attempt at a topspin serve.

the reason behind shoulder dropping is because i am pulling down my left arm too fast, or what? when is the right time to pull down by left arm?

also, i took LeeD's advice today and waited after I bounced the ball and not to straighten my arm so much. it gave me more of a look at the ball and i was able to get more first serves in.

the thing is i can't seem to pronate on a topspin serve, because the ball is tossed right on top of me. i can pronate naturally only when my arm is stretched out and contacting the ball inside the court.

any ideas?
