Cross strings to use for spin with a Kevlar main

Using Black Code 4S 17g strung at 5 pounds and am loving it, but I am worried that the texture will wear out soon, so I was looking for a kevlar hybrid to fix that problem.

I am just looking for cross that will allow for a firm feeling, similar to Black Code 4S 17g, with good spin, also similar to Black Code.

Just looking for a way to make my string bed last longer before I have to re-string them.

Any suggestions are helpful, so feel free to say what you want.

5 lbs... Do you tension the string by hand?

in my experience there is something special with Kev mains crossed with ZX, it does eventually start bothering my shoulder and wrist but I am 62, but I love the spin one can generate and I always preferred the mains 15-20 lbs tighter than the crosses.

shroud, travlerajm, drak, are you guys all the same people. Is the 15 lbs tighter mains for better snapback is this greater differential commonly agreed upon to improve spin. Anyone use this on an open string patter of 16x18 or 16x15

A lot of people either say string kevlar lower, but with newer kevlar strings you can string them higher. Some kevlar/zx fanboys string kevlar 20 pounds higher for more spin... some one even recommended 90/40, but i wouldn't do something as extreme as 90/40

Yes on the greater differential if you prestretch. I did it on a prince warrior esp and man the differential was a no go for me. Had to switch to poly crosses and do 86/86 with kevlar mains.

No ideas about drak but here is trav and me playing some points. He is in the green shorts and I am the slow guy
