Cuevas/Horna upset the Bryans

Did Cuevas make anything wrong?

Very strange. Of course Cuevas is very young. Plays lots of doubles and is pretty good at it. His current ranking is only #50 but its the best for him so far. Horna is a good doubles player also. Ranked #43, which is also his highest. So they are both on their way up. Hope they play together some more.

Cuevas is the guy that (15-year-old American) Ryan Harrison beat several weeks ago. I think it was in Houston, first round.

Horna was interviewed after the match on latin ESPN, he said he told Cuevas that they (Bryans) didnt have the right to get upsed about something like that, that he (Cuevas) shouldnt even think about that, cause of the way the Bryans constantly celebrate points, which, in Horna's oppinion, is OK, but just the same thing that Cuevas did, just celebrate a point...

So they skied over the net during a change over and the bryans get mad. the same Bryans who I have saw sky into each others chest on more than one occasion.

Bryan bros are a couple of smug *****s. Their chest thumping got old a log time ago, and yet they think they are still somehow 'cool'. Cuevas is a young player and this is a huge victory for him, he probably has a lot of respect for one of the top doubles teams. To refuse to shake his hand is very unprofessional and shows their true character, when they are not being profiled in US tennis mags.

Wow, that's huge! I didn't get to watch tennis earlier today butI always like to watch men's doubles if I can. This is really amazing. Opens things up considerably.

well, yeah he jumped over the net and ran to sit down on the changeover in the tiebreak . . . but you could tell he was just totally fired up. i mean, he had to get up from his chair two seconds later cos he wasn't supposed to be sitting in the first place. :wink:
i waited til the end to see if the brothers really dissed him. cuevas barely noticed, i think. he was so elated that they had won. but if that ain't the pot calling the kettle "black." they bryans ar the last team that should talk about other people's antics. how could they possibly get offended about such a spontaneous reaction by cuevas to winning the match of his life? especially when every other team (and the fans) have to endure their stupid high-flying chest bump . . . which, as noted, got stale a long time ago. HA!

I found it crazy that they played throughout the entire rain delay, which would slow the balls down and favored the doubles giant killers of the tournmanet so far.

that's it..I remember seeing that but I didn't think anything of it. I mean to not shake someone's hand because of that is incredibily unacceptable. Give me a break, when they do that stupid bump chest isn't annoying?!
