Current racket that plays similar to AeroPro

gazz1

Semi-Pro
I’ve recently reunited with my Babolat AeroPro 2010 and absolutely love it.
I didn’t like the Pure Aero 2016 string-spacing and believe the 2019 model is the same?
I’m looking for a racket with similar playing characteristics as the AeroPro 2010 in terms of firmness/power and spin while still being able to flatten the ball out.
I don’t mind customising weight, balance and swing-weight. Happy with swing weights up to 330 for this style of racket.
Would love any suggestions.

Have you tried current year Vcore 100?
Far more controlled than PA and lower launch angle. Still plenty of spin on tap. I’ve never hit with your racquet but it seems like it may fit the bill.

No, I haven't. Was worried that the power may have dropped since they lowered the stiffness?

Not sure what the RA was on the AreoPro 2010 but I'm guessing it was around 70.

I might give the Vcore 100 a try.

Vcore 100 is low powered for a racquet marketed as a spin and power racquet. If you want power and stiffness I’m not sure how you could go wrong with a pure drive. A little less open than the PA.

Thanks @Curtennis - Pure Drive is what I was thinking. I have ordered a Pure Drive 21 to demo along with an Ezone 100 2022 and the current Pure Aero (only for comparison to the other 2 and my AeroPro 2010)

Vcore 100 is just not good. Try it and you'll see.
