Shocking to me, but Carlos Alcaraz has now moved into 4th place, yes ahead of Nadal...

Discuss/Disgust

Probably because Bull missed half of the past year? What's their formula?

I prefer UTS Elo ranking.

It's the same with one major difference. UTS increases/decreases value of point swaps based on the event and round of play. IE, they rate a championship match at a major way higher than a 2nd round at a 250. TA has the same point swap no matter the event or round of play.

Oh yeah, one other major difference is that TA rates all professional matches at all levels. UTS only rates matches at the ATP level.

I actually prefer TA, though. And the guy that runs it has done experiments with his Elo rating to see if he'd get better (predictive) results (such as the method used by UTS) and has decided the standard point swap is the best method.

Where's the link to this list and where is Alcaraz? (Clicking the player names just takes me to their profile)

Found it. He sits at no. 31 on that site, which doesn't reflect his new ranking.
For whatever reason, they haven't added the Rio tournament in even though they added in the other three tournaments from last week, already. So yeah, the Elo isn't right. He had two good scalps that ought to have him moving up quite a bit.
