Custome paint job question.

So I'm thinking about stripping down and repainting my 2014 prostaff 90 to look like the ncode series from 2005. If it works, I may do another one to look like the original pro staff from 2003. But my question is. .

Has anybody hit with their custom paint job and how well did it hit compared to an original? I'm an artist in my spare time so I know I will have to take great care and patience to get it right. Has anybody done this? How did they turn out?

Thanks guys!!!

I have hit with a couple of rackets I did a paint job on. Know that if you do it yourself it will be quite difficult to keep the same specs in terms of weight and weight distribution. I have 2 of the same model and both had different specs after the paint job because I painted them differently. One became head heavier because I applied more coats of paint on it. The other was closer to the original specs because I only a applied a few coats.

Not sure if your question refers to how the racket felt after the paint job or how well the paint job held. In my case, only one played noticeably different. The other didn't feel that much different. However, both paint jobs didn't do well. I just used regular spray enamel. Both rackets didn't take long to get chips.
