Customizing my Clash 98 v1 (polarization)

Now that there won't be a 98 v3, I'm doubling down on my v1.

I have 5 of them now, just broke one serving the other day.

My stringer suggested that next time I need to change grommets/headguard, I should have him add weight under the headguard at 12.

His words: think about how many points HL you want the racquet to be, not how heavy you want it to be.

So, if I want to keep the balance the same, I just ask him to add weight in the handle, right? Or am I missing something?

I'm gonna do this with two racquets and leave three stock. The racquet plays great in stock form but I would like a little more weight on my shots without giving up too much maneuverability. Any advice/guidance welcomed

yes, you can keep the balance the same by adding the right amounts to the hoop and handle.

however, before adding semi-permanent weight under the grommets, you might want to experiment a little yourself to make sure you like the increase in weight and swingweight. also, is your stringer going to actually match the swingweight of the racquets you have or just add the same amount of weight to each? If the latter is the case, I would find a different customizer.
