CV Blade 16x19 vs Pure Strike 16x19

So I've been exclusively using the 2014 Pure Strike Tour for the the last two years and I've been having the itch lately to buy some new toys. Also I've been thinking of going to a similar racquet but thats a 16x19 pattern and that's a little bit lighter than my Strike Tour for possibly more maneuverability. Naturally I look at the Blade 16x19 and the Project One 7 Pure Strike.

I'm gonna demo for sure but I'd be interested in anyone's experiences that's used both the CV Blade 16x19 and the 2017 Pure Strike 16x19. How do they compare?

I think the 2015 16x19 blade is better than both, but between the CV model and the 2017 Pure Strike I would probably buy the Pure Strike. The sweet spot is in on the smaller side, but it has pretty good feel. The Blade CV is super muted and felt like a total departure from the previous blades to me. I bought two of the CV models and they were like 12 grams over the spec too lol. The prior models of that racquet juts hit monster serves, but the CV model felt like a wet noodle on overheads and serves.

Between the two I’d go with the Pure Strike, since it is a plain racquet with no gimmicks. It was very similar to the Black and Atomic Red one. I didn’t like either, but you can add a little weight to it (maybe 2-3g at 12) and it’s decent. The CV 16x19 is a design flaw. Don’t pay attention to the listed specs. It’s heavier, with about the same weight and balance as the Pro Staff 97S, only stiffer and muted to the point of Novocain.
